TEC-9/DC-9 MACHINE PISTOL

The Intratec TEC-9 & DC-9 are descendants of the KG-9 open bolt pistol which saw a short market life some years ago. The KG-9 was originally designed and manufactured as a machine pistol for foreign sales. A `civilian' version was marketed in the United States as the KG-9 open bolt pistol. Almost immediately, BATF ruled the open bolt design as "...readily convertible..." to a machine gun and prohibited further sale of the weapon.

This manual provides a wealth of information for conversion of the closed bolt TEC-9 and DC-9 back to the open bolt SMG configuration. The end result would be a reproduction of the original KG-9 machine pistol sold to foreign governments.
